Also, I added this disclaimer on the last update, but I wanted to put it here too: The strategy talked about here is not a “be-all-end-all” thing for things like anxiety or depression. It is one activity that some studies have found to be helpful in increasing gratitude, which is theorized to then increase happiness. It should not be used to diminish anyone’s struggles or “negative” things that happen, but it can be used as a tool to help gain some perspective and practice some gratitude.
