I relate so hard to his words. I'm in the closet, and even though I know I cant change myself, or my mothers reaction I still hide and worry about it.
"I can't change me" is usually followed by "and if I could, would I still be me?" for me.
The fear of the probable, the not knowing, is the worst part. Sometimes you just have to /do/ the thing because, no matter how bad the outcome, it is better than the worrying and anxiety.
